The content and value of Fuchs's data for the Soviet program is discussed thoroughly in David Holloway's, Stalin and the bomb : the Soviet Union and atomic energy, 1939- 1956 (New Haven, CT: Yale University Press, 1994). Holloway based his assessment of the value of Fuchs's data in particular from the intelligence transcripts and the reactions of key Soviet personnel�especially Igor Kurchatov�to Fuchs' data.
